Event Planning is the energizing art of choreographing people, decor, and activities in order to orchestrate the moments that create memories of a lifetime.
Having professionally planned hundreds of events since 2008, I can confidently say that I love my job! It is an exciting honor to be part of making dreams into a reality. I am grateful to work alongside this smart, creative, amazing team and proud to call many of my fabulous former clients friends.
I am a native Austinite and graduated from The University of Texas at Austin, where I also worked planning and managing programs and events for UT Athletics. I have dual Canadian citizenship and love to travel! I also enjoy pug cuddles from my creature Waldo, cooking (hopefully) delicious meals, and experiencing all of the things that make Austin awesome!
I have had the privilege of working with the fabulous team at ButterFly Bridal & Events for the past four years. My favorite thing about being an event planner is getting to meet so many amazing people, and create a memorable experience that is uniquely tailored to them. I have truly enjoy getting to know each of our clients and their families, as well as learn about their different cultures and traditions.
Outside of planning events, I spend the majority of my time with my family. My husband Adam and I have two beautiful children, Aiden and Leila. Leila was born with a rare syndrome called Cri Du Chat. Despite all of the challenges she faces, she brings our family immense joy.
I love to travel and taste foods from around the world. I also love trivia, nail art, and all things fashion and beauty. I'm currently learning American Sign Language to communicate with my daughter and other people with disabilities.
I joined the ButterFly team in 2019, though I have played a variety of roles in the industry for the last decade. I’m confident in my work and I love what I do! It is an honor to have the opportunity to touch peoples lives in this special way.
My husband and I moved to the beautiful ATX two years ago. Since then, I’ve had the absolute pleasure of staying home with our busy 4 year old. In addition to planning events, and being a mom, I have over 12 years of experience in the beauty industry and have been a licensed hairstylist for 10 years. In my spare time I enjoy, decorating and organizing, crafting, cooking and I’m a total green thumb and care for my nearly 400 plants.
With a BA in Fashion Design from Texas Tech, this Dallas native has spent her last 10 years in Austin working in many different facets of the Fashion and Wedding Industries with one guiding principle, making people look as good as they feel.
An Affiliate Marketing Manager by day, she thrives on the weekends using her creative nature to help make soon-to-be newlyweds' dreams come true!
